Project Manager/Estimator/HVAC Systems Designer

Pat graduated from Manhattan Area Technical College (MATC) HVAC Program in 1970. After graduation, Pat accepted a position at Stan’s Refrigeration Service in Manhattan, KS. He managed the company for 19 years, purchasing it in 1989. During these years, Pat completed a course of study on Heat Pumps in Wichita, KS. His training included system sizing, installation, and energy conservation in high efficiency heating and cooling equipment.

In 1982, Pat joined the Manhattan Area Technical College’s Advisory Board for the HVAC curriculum in which he served on for many years.

In 1983, Pat was asked by Dr. Paul Rempal of Kansas State University to design and build a constant temperature holding and processing case for the Kansas Artificial Breading Unit. This unit is still used today.

In 1996, Pat sold Stan’s Refrigeration Service, and came to work at MAWP as a Project Manager/Estimator and HVAC Systems Designer. He is a past member of the Refrigeration Service Engineer’s Society.
