Renew Primary Care - Phase 2

Project Description/Scope:

Design and reconfigure approximately 16,000 SF of existing Primary Care clinical space located in the Reynolds Army Community Hospital (RACH). Project was split into 4 phases to minimize occupant disruption. Occupants in each phase were moved to a transition pace outside of the hospital during work for that phase.

AHU-120 (14,450 CFM) and AHU-130 (17,720 CFM) were replaced with new variable volume air handlers. Air handlers were replaced on separate weekends and had to be operational before the hospital reopened the next week. New air handlers included carbon filters.

A total of  67 VAV's were replaced. Ducts were modified to accommodate the new layout and new equipment.
All pneumatic controls that were associated with the reconfigured areas and replaced equipment were replaced with new DDC controls. New controls were interfaced with the existing Johnson Controls Metasys system.
New domestic water and waste and vent piping was installed to serve new plumbing fixtures in the remodeled areas.
