Fort Sill - Repair of BLDG 3161

Project Description/Scope:

The intent of this project is to conduct repairs, expand the existing building size and
reconfigure the layout of Building 3161 into a modern Social Work Services facility. This
initiative will result in an improvement in processes and practices, decreased inefficiency
and inconvenience in order for these facilities to meet the patient population increase
anticipated at Fort Sill.

Project consisted of renovation of 6,500 SqFt and adding approximately 2,500 SqFt.

New hydronic chilled water and hot water piping was installed to a total of 10 new air handlers from the existing 25 ton chiller and 440 MBH boiler. The existing chilled water and hot water pumps were replaced to accommodate the new piping.

New supply and return duct was installed for each air handler. A 1,500 CFM energy recovery ventilator was installed to provide fresh air to the building and connected to each air handler.

All of the domestic water and waste and vent piping was replaced. The existing plumbing fixtures were replaced with new low flow fixtures with automatic flush valves and faucets. A new water heater was also installed.
